We formed The Bare Necessities after many years of playing in a great soul and Motown band called Soul Intention (which we still play with). We realised, however, that many people and venues want great live music with real musicians but couldn't afford (or didn't have space for) a ten-piece band. We also fancied playing some different songs that wouldn't fit in a soul band! So The Bare Necessities is the answer!
